2               A New Year …… A New Commandment

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.” (John 13:34)

3               A New Year …… A New Creation

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)

4               A New Year …… A New Heaven and Earth

“’For as the new heavens and the new earth which I will make shall remain before Me’, says the Lord, ‘So shall your descendants and your name remain.’” (Isaiah 66:22)

“Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.” (2 Peter 3:13)
“Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for thefirst heaven and the first earth had passed away.  Also there was no more sea.” (Revelation 21:1)

5               A New Year …… A New Mercies

“Therefore the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not.  They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:22-23)

6               A New Year …… A New Covenant

“’Behold, the days are coming’, says the Lord, ‘when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.’” (Jeremiah 31:31)

“For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.” (Matthew 26:28)

“To Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.” (Hebrews 12:24)

7               A New Year …… A New Spirit

“Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh.” (Ezekiel 11:19)

“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.” (Ezekiel 36:26)

8               A New Year …… A New Way

“By a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh.” (Hebrews 10:20).

9               A New Year …… A New Man

“Having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace.” (Ephesians 2:15)

“And that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.” (Ephesians 4:24)

“And have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created Him.” (Colossians 3:10)

10            A New Year …… A New Jerusalem

“Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.” (Revelation 21:2)

11            A New Year …… A New Name

“The Gentiles shall see your righteousness, and all kings your glory.  You shall be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord will name.” (Isaiah 62:2)

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.  To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat.  And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.” (Revelation 2:17)

“Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” (Romans 6:4)
